Map

The map above shows that you can reach Ahilyanagar via either Pune, Aurangabad, Solapur or Nashik. You can get buses to reach Ahilyanagar every 30 minutes from Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad or Solapur. From Mumbai, the train option is also available, but the frequency is poor. Hence bus is preferable from Mumbai too. In addition to the State Transport buses, private luxury buses are also available from most of the cities, generally in the vicinity of State Transport bus stands. In Ahilyanagar, the buses halt at two different bus stands: the old city bus stand and the new bus stand at Tarakpur. Shree Datta Devsthan is closer to Tarakpur bus stand. Hence it is advisable to get down at Tarakpur bus stand. From the bus stand, you can take an auto-rikshaw. The auto-rikshaw will cost about 15-20 Rs. from Tarakpur and 30-35 Rs. from the old city bus stand
